Sequences Day 1 - Notes Day
Today, we will begin learning about Arithmetic Sequences.
The expectations for digital learning this week are that you work through the notes on your own or using Coach White's video lessons. Work through the homework and if there are any issues, you should consult Mr. Thomas via email. I will conduct virtual class sessions in Zoom on Tuesday and Thursday of this week between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. to give each student a chance to speak with me concerning the current work.
If further assistance is needed please email me.
Also remember, the keys to the work will be posted Friday evening after the deadline to submit your work. All work for the week is to be submitted by Friday at 3:30pm. No work will be accepted after that.

Full explanations of questions missed are presented in a student-friendly way, so I encourage you to begin working as soon as possible. It also allows me, the teacher, to track your progress and to see how long you've been actively working on the platform.
Please log onto IXL.com, enter your username and password, and look for "...skills suggested by your teacher" at the top of your screen. The phrase is next to a golden star. I have assigned several skills for you to work on.
Please Note: A score of 80% or more shows mastery of the current skill so it is optional if the student would like a score of 100%. "This means that you do not need to see a score of 100% on all of the suggested skills to show satisfactory; however, if you would like your account to reflect a score of 100% - please feel free to do do".

This week we will begin working on the End of Course Test (EOCT) review material. As of Tuesday (3/17/2020), the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) has suspended the State assessment window/administration. However, we will continue to study, practice, and prepare as scheduled. In addition, this week will make a great review for a final exam.
